A
deal from a Manchester league match.
You
reach a slightly pushy, but playable six heart
contract.
West
leads a diamond, you win, draw trumps in three
rounds, West having three and East one and then cash
all the diamonds with West having one and East
three. After taking the ace of clubs you play
a spade from dummy and have to guess who has the
queen and who has the ace.
The
defence has thrown mainly small clubs and a spade
each, so there are no obvious clues from the
discards.
How
do you play?
