On the deal above Enid Noronha played a tricky four hearts from the South hand on an unspecified auction. A spade was led to the king and a diamond returned. Enid won in hand with the queen, played the queen of hearts covered by the king and ace and then a heart back to the jack. A spade ruff was followed by reverting to diamonds, since East had to follow she threw two losing clubs, then the fifth diamond left East with no winning option. Thanks to Raymond Semp for reporting this deal. |
