won by South with the king.
Declarer
drew two rounds of trumps, ruffed a club and cashed
the ace of diamonds, then returned to hand with a
third trump, East discarding a heart.
Declarer
now cashed a fourth trump, East discarded his last
club, leaving the end position below.
Declarer
exited with a heart which West won with the heart
queen. Now West erred by playing a club which
cruelly suicide squeezed his partner. East
bared the heart ace, while South ruffed.
Reading the position correctly declarer, Raymond
Semp, exited with another heart and East was
endplayed to lead away from the diamond queen.
