For the Gazette a reduced scale will apply depending on the number of eligible non-expert teams e.g. 3/2/1 if three teams are eligible, 2/1 if two teams eligible etc.
For the Goldstone eligible teams will get 1 point for the first match, 2 points for each subsequent match won.

Equal places will each get same number of higher points e.g. 2nd= both get 9 points in Ben Franks.

The point scoring system has been chosen to make each competition have roughly equal standing and to make the keeping of the scores not too onerous.
